Louis Vuitton’s private collection highlighting abstraction, colour and space

, ,

Two collections are in the spotlight from February 20th to August 26th, 2019 at the Louis Vuitton Foundation: the Courtauld Collection: A vision for impressionism and the Collection of the Fondation: A vision for painting. This requires a carefree attitude, a self-confidence without worrying about the surrounding world. We have the right to say that we like it or not, sometimes without knowing the reasons. Great international painters from the 1960s to the present day are exhibited, such as Joan Mitchell, Alex Katz, Gerhard Richter, Ettore Spalletti, Yayoi Kusama, Jesús Rafael Soto. This is a beautiful invitation to confront ourselves and make a self-examination of our own feelings. “Learn more
